Synthesia, Grammarly and Gamma now show rupee prices for India
By Palz Tools ·
Several AI tools used by Indian creators and small businesses now show prices in rupees on their official pricing pages. Here is what the pages showed when we checked them on 30 September 2026.
Synthesia: "new lower prices"
Synthesia, which makes presenter-style videos with AI avatars, advertises new lower prices on its pricing page, with plans "now starting from ₹1,499/month". That is the Starter plan billed yearly; billed monthly it is ₹1,999. The free Basic plan remains, with up to 10 minutes of video a month.
Grammarly: an India-only Plus plan
Grammarly's plans page shows a Plus plan marked as exclusive to India, at ₹392 per member per month billed yearly, or ₹1,000 billed monthly. The page says it is available only through local payment methods. The free plan still covers spelling and grammar.
Gamma: plans in rupees
Gamma, which turns prompts and files into presentations, lists Plus at ₹400 per seat per month (₹4,800 billed yearly) and Pro at ₹950 per seat per month. Its free plan gives 400 credits at sign-up.
What this means for you
Rupee pricing makes budgeting easier and avoids card charges in dollars. Before buying, check whether the price is billed monthly or yearly, and whether GST is added at checkout. The pricing pages linked below show the current terms.
