Delete PDF Pages

Remove pages from a PDF, such as blank, extra or sensitive ones, and save a clean copy.

How to delete pages from a PDF

  1. Choose your PDF. The page count is shown.
  2. Type the pages to remove, for example 1, 4-6. 8- removes page 8 to the end.
  3. Click Delete pages & download. Your original is unchanged.

Example

From a 10-page PDF, removing 2, 5-7 leaves 6 pages: the original pages 1, 3, 4, 8, 9 and 10, in that order. The tool won't let you remove every page, and it tells you if a page number is beyond the end of the document.

When to use it

  • Remove blank pages that a scanner added between sheets.
  • Take out pages with personal details before sharing a statement or report. Unlike covering text with a box, deleted pages are not in the new file at all.
  • Trim cover pages, adverts or appendices before printing or uploading, which also makes the file smaller.

Frequently asked questions

Can I undo it?

Your original file isn't changed; a new copy is downloaded. Just start again from the original.

Does it reduce quality?

No. The remaining pages are copied exactly, with selectable text and full-resolution images.

Are deleted pages really gone?

Yes. The new file is built only from the pages you keep, so the removed pages aren't hidden inside it. That makes it safe for taking out pages you don't want to share.

Do bookmarks and form fields survive?

Filled-in answers stay visible, but the fields are no longer fillable and bookmarks are dropped, because pages are copied into a new file. Finish filling in forms first.
