Tips for QR codes that scan every time

  • Keep strong contrast: a dark code on a white background.
  • Print it at least 2 × 2 cm, bigger if people will scan from a distance.
  • Test with two different phones before printing in bulk.
  • Shorter links make simpler codes that scan faster.

Frequently asked questions

Do these QR codes expire?

No. They are static QR codes, so the data is stored inside the code itself. There is no redirect server that can stop working.

How do I make a UPI QR code for my shop?

Choose UPI payment and enter your UPI ID (for example yourname@okaxis). Add an amount for a fixed-price QR, or leave it blank so customers type the amount. Any UPI app, such as Google Pay, PhonePe or Paytm, can scan it.

Is it safe to put my Wi-Fi password in a QR code?

The QR code is made in your browser and nothing is sent to us. Anyone who scans the printed code can join your network, so only display it where you would share the password anyway.

PNG or SVG?

Use PNG for WhatsApp, websites and quick printing. Use SVG for banners and standees. It scales to any size without blurring.
