How to edit a photo
- Choose a photo.
- Start from a preset (Vivid, B&W, Vintage, Bright) or adjust the values yourself.
- Check the preview, then download the full-size edited photo.
What each setting does
- Brightness and Contrast: 100% is unchanged. 110โ120% brightens a dull indoor photo.
- Saturate: colour strength. 0% is black and white, and 140% gives the Vivid look.
- Grayscale and Sepia: 100% gives a full black-and-white or old-photo tone.
- Blur in pixels, for soft backgrounds. Sharpen in % brings back detail in slightly soft photos.
Example
The Vintage preset sets sepia to 60%, contrast to 90% and brightness to 105%, a warm, faded look. B&W is grayscale 100% with contrast 115%, which keeps black-and-white photos from looking flat.
Tips
- The preview is scaled down for speed; the download is made at the photo's full size.
- Small changes look more natural: try 105โ115% before going further.
- Want text or a border too? Use Add text to image or Add border on the result, or do everything at once, with undo, in the Photo editor.
